Welcome!

My name is Hailey and I'm a pre-licensed therapist serving the Philly area. I've worked for three years in community mental health as an Outpatient Therapist supporting adults navigate depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD symptoms.

I also work in the Philadelphia School District as a Mobile Therapist with kids as young as 6 years old up to 17 years old. While I love working with kids, I'm not currently accepting kid clients as I'm only providing Telehealth.

My Story

I'm an avid animal lover, cat foster parent and part of the LGBTQ+ community. I identify as a cis-gendered gay woman and love working within the LGBTQ+ community. I'm a pet parent to one very sassy dog and two odd-couple tabbies that formed a wonderful friendship while in foster care with me. I keep another cat foster in rotation and volunteer at ACCT Philly.

Counseling was a career shift for me from working within the non-profit world with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I've worked for the past three years as an Outpatient Therapist in community mental health. The past two school years I've worked as a Mobile Therapist in the Philly School District. I did my practicum at a private play therapy practice and my internship at a big community mental health practice. I started my undergraduate degree at Northern Michigan University (all the way in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) and finished it at Rutgers University. I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling degree at Arcadia University.

My interests particularly include working from a trauma-informed lens with LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing anxiety and / or identity struggles. Having experienced prolonged grief, I am also passionate about helping others navigate this experience in relationship to behavioral euthanasia. My approach is person-centered and integrative, tweaking my style to meet you where you're at and what best fits you. I use emotion focused skills, DBT skills, exposure therapy elements and a psychodynamic approach. Sometimes we've got to go back to see where you've been to better understand the context of where you're at
